I’m Sam, a mum of two boys, a book lover, and the photographer behind SKB Photography.

My journey into family photography began in the world of real estate photography. After years of photographing homes, a friend asked me to capture some photos of her and her son, and I instantly fell in love with documenting people instead of places.

Today, I specialise in relaxed family, maternity, and motherhood photography across Melbourne’s South East. My sessions are warm, natural, and focused on capturing genuine connection rather than perfectly posed moments.

As a mum myself, I understand how important it is to feel comfortable in front of the camera. That’s why I strive to create an inclusive, welcoming experience for every family. I offer a growing client wardrobe in sizes 8–26 and provide neurodiverse-friendly sessions with flexible accommodations to help everyone feel supported.
